From a very young age there has always been a passion for capturing moments. It was thanks to an analogue camera, which recorded on Hi8, that I became a collector of moments, until I decided to create them.

Later, having explored the practice, I decided to learn the theory: I did a bachelor's degree and finished a master's in Cinema at the University of Beira Interior.

Cinema is an individual experience.

I have always dedicated myself to learning. Through various academic and personal projects, I have explored every facet of cinema: sound, photography, editing and directing.

I am very interested in the metaphor that exists in images, so I always seek to maximise the potential of cinematic language. I am meticulous with the object, not out of vanity but out of respect. Whatever the subject, the image should carry the feeling, not explain it.
